Privacy Policy & Cookies

Last updated: October 2026

Contact: suporte@igood.app.br — This Privacy Policy describes how iGood collects, uses, stores and protects the personal data of users who visit our presentation website or use our App, in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Law No. 13,709/2018).

1. Data we collect

To fulfill our purposes, we collect strictly the data necessary (Data Minimization Principle):

In the App:

  • Registration data: name, email, phone number, tax ID (CPF), address and password (stored securely).
  • Contact network: name and phone number of the people you list as trusted contacts.
  • Precise location (GPS): when you trigger the SOS or accept to help, the app reads the device’s location and keeps it updated while the emergency is active, including with the screen locked or the app in the background. During that period, Android displays a notification that the location is in use.
  • Help request data: name, phone number and position of the person asking for help and of the person accepting to help, plus the time and status of the request.
  • Technical data: device identifier for notifications (Firebase token), app version and connection data.
  • Subscription data: contracted plan (monthly or annual), status and validity. We do not receive your card number or your Pix details.

On the presentation website: only basic browsing data and access statistics, via cookies.

2. Purposes and legal bases (LGPD)

Data is processed based on the legal grounds of the LGPD (Consent, Contract Performance and Legitimate Interest/Protection of Life) to:

  • Identify you and match your phone number with the number registered by other users as a trusted contact, so the alert reaches the right people.
  • Send the SOS alert, with siren and notification, to your contacts, and show your position and route to whoever accepts to help.
  • Verify your subscription (monthly and annual plans) and unlock the PRO plan features.
  • Measure the performance and reach of our presentation website.

3. Use of cookies on the presentation website

As the website is purely informative and for presentation purposes, we use only strictly necessary cookies to load the page and, optionally, performance/analytics cookies (such as metrics tools) to understand the visits we receive.

The User may block or delete cookies at any time directly in their internet browser settings.

4. Enhanced technical protection and financial data

  • Geolocation: your position is only read after you trigger the SOS or accept to help. It is sent over an encrypted connection to our server and shown to the contacts you chose and to whoever accepts to help with that request. We do not sell your location. Location data is automatically erased 7 days after the emergency ends (or if the request stays open without updates for more than 24 hours). You can also erase everything earlier by deleting your account.
  • Payment data: iGood does not store credit card data. All billing and processing of the monthly and annual plans takes place in a secure environment under the exclusive responsibility of the Google Play Store.

5. Processing of third parties’ data (support network)

The User declares and warrants that they have the prior authorization and consent of the contacts whose phone numbers they register in the app’s internal support network.

6. Services that process data on our behalf

We use service providers to operate the app. They receive only the data necessary for their role:

  • Base44: app hosting, database and server functions.
  • Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging): delivering SOS notifications to the device.
  • RevenueCat: verifying subscriptions purchased through Google Play.
  • Google Play: billing and management of subscriptions.
  • OpenStreetMap and OSRM: map display and route calculation. Note about the map: the app queries the public OSRM server, sending the user’s and the Amigoods’ positions, and loads the map from OpenStreetMap servers.

Some of these providers are outside Brazil, and their servers may be located in other countries. In such cases, processing follows the LGPD and the international data transfer rules.

7. Minors

iGood is intended for people aged 18 or over. Minors should only use the app with the knowledge and authorization of their parents or legal guardians, who are responsible for its use, for the data provided and for any subscription purchased. If you are the guardian of a minor and believe they provided data without your authorization, write to suporte@igood.app.br and we will delete the account.

8. How long we keep your data

  • Registration, profile and contact data: for as long as your account exists. It is erased when you delete your account.
  • Help requests and location: automatically erased 7 days after the emergency ends (or after 24 hours without updates).
  • Purchase and subscription records: kept in Google Play and RevenueCat for the period required by law and by payment rules.
  • Backups: may keep data for up to 30 days after deletion and are automatically removed at the end of that period.

9. Your rights as a data subject (Art. 18 of the LGPD)

You may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability or deletion of your data and account cancellation at any time. You may also file a complaint with the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) if you believe your data was not processed correctly. We will respond to your requests within up to 15 days.
