Last updated: October 2026
These Terms and Conditions of Use constitute a binding agreement between you (hereinafter “User”) and the parties responsible for the iGood app (hereinafter “Platform”). By accessing our website or downloading, installing and using the iGood app, you declare that you have read, understood and fully agree to these rules.
Section 1 — Subject
1.1. This instrument governs the use of the iGood mobile application and browsing on its presentation website.
1.2. iGood’s purpose is to connect the User to a personal network of trusted contacts in moments when personal support is needed.
Section 2 — Nature of the services and public-emergency disclaimer
2.1. iGood is NOT, does not replace and is not part of public emergency services (such as SAMU — 192, Military Police — 190, Fire Department — 193, Civil Defense, among others, in Brazil).
2.2. The Platform operates solely as a private support-network facilitator (peer-to-peer) and assumes no obligations regarding physical rescue, state-provided emergency care or a guaranteed immediate response from registered contacts.
Section 3 — Responsible use and User obligations
3.1. The User undertakes to:
- Register real contacts and keep their information up to date in the app.
- Obtain prior authorization from the people added to their support network.
- Trigger the help system only for real situations; prank calls and abusive use are prohibited.
3.2. The User acknowledges that an immediate response from their private network must not be presumed and that the effectiveness of the alert depends on external factors.
Section 4 — Plans, subscriptions and payments via Google Play
4.1. Type and billing: iGood may offer advanced features through paid subscription plans (monthly and annual plans). All financial transactions, charges and payment processing are operated entirely through the third-party Google Play Store (Google).
4.2. Automatic renewal and cancellation: the monthly or annual subscription is charged on a recurring basis and renewed automatically at the end of each period, unless canceled by the User. You can cancel via the “Cancel subscription” button on the Profile tab of the app, which takes you to the Google Play subscriptions screen, or directly in the Play Store. Access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
4.3. Right of withdrawal and refunds: the User may exercise the right of withdrawal by requesting a refund. Refund requests may be sent to suporte@igood.app.br and will be reviewed within up to 7 days, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Code.
Section 5 — Technical limitations and connectivity
5.1. The availability of the App’s features depends on an active internet connection, GPS signal and proper permissions on the User’s device.
5.2. The Platform is not responsible for connectivity failures, battery restrictions, carrier outages or blocks resulting from the device’s operating system.
Section 6 — Emergency situations and duty of self-protection
6.1. The User must NOT rely exclusively on the app in situations of critical risk to life or physical integrity.
6.2. In scenarios of imminent danger, it is the User’s duty to immediately call the competent public emergency services; this clause serves as an express self-protection warning.
Section 7 — General provisions and governing court
7.1. These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Platform implies acceptance of the new rules.
7.2. The court of the district of Maracanaú, State of Ceará, Brazil, is elected to settle disputes, without prejudice to the protective territorial-jurisdiction rules of the Consumer Protection Code.
